Description:
Ue is the General of Sanro and the Land of Iron, noted for his legendary immunity to jutsu. He is aggrandized for having never been beaten by a ninja, and has challenged the ninja world on multiple occasions, making the ninja countries that border the Land of Iron uneasy and expectant of invasion. His insistence that no ninja can beat him has lead to more than a few upstarts accepting his challenge, though all of these challengers have been delivered back to their respective villages in a pine box. He is an unusually large man, both tall and broad, with the overall build of a god of war. His fiery red hair and beard both styled to resemble a lions mane made of fire, which would honestly look absolutely ridiculous if his presence and figure weren't so intimidating.

Description:
Sandayu is the only known ninja living in Sanro, and is one of the right hand men of Ue, he is often left in charge of taking care of foreign matters that do not require the direct attention of the General. He is known as the Sword of Ue, in contrast to Ginchiyo who is known as the Shield. He has pale, dulled skin with marking to emphasize the dark circles under his eyes; long, dark hair tied back into a ponytail; and is a slight and unimposing figure. He is well trained in the use of smoke, shadow, and hair, including a variety of secret techniques supposedly known only to the Nara and Shikei clans.

Description:
Ginchiyo is the current head of the Kando clan, She is also one of the right hand 'men' of Ue, often left in charge of taking care of local matters that do not require the direct attention of the General. She is known as the Shield of Ue, in contrast to Sandayu who is known as the Sword. She wears bright red armor with bright orange trim and a yellow Kamishimo outfit, with the Kataginu worn over her armor; her facial markings are said to be red though no one has ever seen her without her helmet, or so rumors would claim. She is a master of kenjutsu and the Kando clans techniques. She is tall with a strong, yet slender build, and fairly broad shoulders. The remainder of her physical appearance is object of speculation as she is never seen without her armor, though the Kando clan tends to have pale skin; red, brown, or black hair; and violet eyes.

Description:
Takaeko is a member of the Sanro police force, and often trains young, upcoming samurai, especially others of the Kando clan. She specializes in kenjutsu and taijutsu, and is well adept at her clans ninjutsu and nintaijutsu. She utilizes the fire nature and has developed her shape manipulation to condense her techniques, causing the majority of her jutsu to explode with great force on impact. She wears the traditional armor of the Kando clan, as well as his clans facial markings, both of which are black, and she keeps her armor polished to a mirror-like sheen. She has pale skin; jet black hair that falls just past her shoulders, worn up in a suebian knot, tied on the right with a spiky tuft sticking up in the back; deep, vibrant purple eyes; and a slender physique.

Description:
Tomoe is a young member of the Kando clan, currently enrolled in the academy along with her younger brothers Daito and Shoto. She wears the traditional armor of the Kando clan, as well as his clans facial markings, both of which are a dark red. She has pale skin; dark red hair that falls just past her shoulders, worn up in a suebian knot, tied on the right with a spiky tuft sticking up in the back; dull violet eyes; and an average build.

Description:
Daito is a young member of the Kando clan, currently enrolled in the academy along with his older sister Tomoe, and his younger, twin brother Shoto. He wears the traditional armor of the Kando clan, as well as his clans facial markings, both of which are a striking white. He has pale skin; shoulder length, vibrant red hair, often with the top pulled back into a small bun-like topknot; deep violet eyes; and is taller than Shoto despite the two being identical twins.

Description:
Shurei is a young and fairly androgynous samurai and an instructor at the Sanro Academy. He is quite skilled in taijutsu, nintaijutsu, bukijutsu, and internal ninjutsu; and fairly well rounded when it comes to the samurai techniques. He utilizes the wind nature and its advanced form typhoon in his techniques. He has fair skin; long white hair with each side tied into a small figure-eight-style loop; pale blue eyes; and a small stature.

Description:
Kirei is the younger brother of Shurei and shares his feminine appearance. He is skilled in chakra control and shows promise with the wind nature through his kekkei genkai as well as the water nature. He has fair skin; long, silvery hair often combed back with the sides pulled back into a ponytail to keep the rest in place; and a rather scrawny stature, being both short and thin.
